Who is who

Dr. Emiliano Brini (he/him/his)

Emiliano is an assistant professor in the School of Chemistry and Material Science at RIT. Emiliano's career as a computational chemist started with his bachelor and master thesis in the in the group of F. Zerbetto at the University of Bologna (Italy). He obtained his PhD in the group of Nico van der Vegt at TU Darmstadt (Germany). He then moved to the US to join Ken Dill's research group at Stony Brook University (NY). Emiliano's research focuses on developing new computational tools to estimate free energies. He is intersted in studying protein-protein interactions, the solvation properties of organic molecules, and the structure of materials. [Click for more info]
